Over the last 10+ years, I have learnt what photographs well, what is flattering and what will make you feel like a goddess! I have searched high and low for the best pieces and I am always purchasing the most beautiful gowns for you to borrow for your maternity, newborn or family session. These pieces are complimentary to borrow. Choose your gown, then select your partner and/or kid's outfits to compliment yours. You can choose 3 options and I will bring them along so you can choose and do a sneaky change behind the picnic rug when we meet at the carpark! Don't worry if it's something you wouldn't normally wear, that's the beauty of a photo session - you can go all out and I promise you will feel amazing and feminine in any of these dresses.
1.
THE ANGELICA DRESS
This is a Bohemian inspired piece, with a full ruffle tiered skirt, large romantic detailed sleeves with crochet/lace and fringe trims, shirred elastic waistband and elastic neckline can be work off the shoulder or on. This unique fabric is made from 100% Turkish cotton.
Strapless bra would be ideal. Cream or skin colour.
Elastic waist, recommended for sizes 6-16.
Full length, semi-sheer, cream.
Really beautiful option for a newborn or family session - imagine those detailed sleeves hugging your little one!
2.
THE PIRATE QUEEN GOWN
Can be worn tied and open to reveal your bump. Underneath, wear a nice cream or skin colour lingerie set, lace or silk (client to supply).
Available in Size Medium, wrap around style so fits most.
Upper arms a bit tighter.
Full length, sheer, cream.
A lovely number to finish the maternity session with when the light is at it's best, and we play around with it open and then wrapped.

FRINGE KIMONO GOWN
Another Bohemian style, fringe details, tiered skirt and a beautiful criss cross open detail at the bust.
Can be worn on or off the shoulder.
One Size. Worn open to reveal baby bump but connected at bust. Looks amazing with no bra. Or could be worn with a cream or skin colour lace bra.
Full length, semi-sheer, cream.
Super fun and sexy for a maternity session, celebrating your body.

THE VINTAGE POET GOWN
~ IN SAGE
This is a vintage inspired piece, with a full ruffle tiered skirt, romantic poet sleeves, elastic cuffs and neckline.
Can be worn on or off the shoulder and comes with a matching removable waist tie.
One Size (oversized fit), recommended for sizes 8-18.
Full length, semi-sheer, cinnamon.
Wear skin coloured or cream underwear.
5.
THE BUTTONED BROWN GOWN
This brown pure linen gown features buttons down your middle and subtle ballooned sleeves. We can also play around with this unbuttoned to reveal a baby bump.
It's an AU14 or XL but would fit a size 8-14 as it has a tie at the back to bring it in.
Looks great with boots!
A really earthy choice for your maternity, newborn or family session.

~ IN CINNAMON
This is a vintage inspired piece, with a full ruffle tiered skirt, romantic poet sleeves, elastic cuffs and neckline.
Can be worn on or off the shoulder and comes with a matching removable waist tie.

THE TRUE ROMANCE GOWN
This piece is made of a beautiful soft crinkly fabric, and is fully lined. This gown has cute white tassels and sweet, flattering sleeves that can be worn on or off the shoulder.
This piece photographs beautifully, thanks to the incredible textures and the frill adornments. This gown moves so gracefully and is made for spinning and twirling.
Size Medium, elastic waist.
Maxi length but comes up higher at the front, slightly sheer, white.
Gorgeous choice for any type of session.

THE HARRIET GOWN
This divine sheer lace gown is a thoughtful shape created by a full elastic waistband and featuring elasticated cuffs on the sleeves. Finished off with fixed ties on the beautiful v-line back and a tassel detail for a convenient adjustable fit. The drama of this gowns puff sleeves and front split add so much to love.
This gorgeous gown also has a train for the most graceful movement and extra drama for your shoots.
Please note this is best worn with nude underwear or slip.

THE TULIP GOWN
~ FROM THE SOPHIE LEA & SIMONE LOUISE COLLECTION
The off the shoulder neckline creates the ultimate statement piece. Featuring a multi-tiered lace elastic neckline which drapes down over the arm covering a set in sleeve underneath. Waistline is all elastic and two fill panels run vertically down the front of the garment for extra effect. The finale is more delicate lace around the bottom of the hemline.

THE ELOISE DRESS
Stunning combination of Turkish Cotton texture and lace details. A sweet frill around the middle of the arms and a crochet trim at the end of the sleeve. The neckline is so flattering on this one and is worn on the shoulders but can be cheekily slipped off the shoulder for a few photos. It's a really flowy dress and great for a spin.
The Eloise Dress fits size XS to L, with an elastic waistband/sleeve.
Ultimate choice for maternity, newborn, family or branding session.
The stunning beige, stretchy linen style gown. It has large ballooned sleeves, shirred waist band and 4 splits to play with in the skirt. Worn off the shoulders or on. Lots of gorgeous extra length to play with and add movement to your images. This is such a statement piece for a maternity session!

I found this crochet sage green kimono in a gorgeous little shop in Coolum Beach, QLD. It looks beautiful worn open to show off your pregnant belly.
Wear nude, cream or Bimby + Roy underwear.
Generous fit. Mid calf length.
You could also wear any of these kimonos over jeans with a plain cream blouse for a more casual family or branding session.

THE WHITE LACE KIMONO
This white lace kimono looks beautiful worn open to show off your pregnant belly. A great option for getting into the water up to your waist. Wear nude, cream or Bimby + Roy underwear (client to supply).

THE LACE KNEE LENGTH DRESS
Looks beautiful with skin-colour or nude/cream underwear (client to supply) or a skin coloured slip underneath.

We hike this one up so it's not that dorky below the knee length.

THE RUST PIRATE GOWN
100% Cotton made in Mexico - this stunning dress would look so beautiful for any photoshoot. The texture is gorgeous, it has a plunging neckline, ballooned sleeves and a split that can also be used to reveal your baby bump for an open style photo. You've got to be open to revealing a lot of cleavage or chest for this one and it can't be worn with a bra.
I had been wanting this for years but it was always sold out until I found it on the Depop app second hand!
Size: XS (Would fit a AU size 6, 8 and hopefully a 10) - stretchy shirred panel at the back of the waist.

THE TREE OF LIFE GOWN
- WITH FLOWERS
So feminine, you'll feel like a pregnant goddess. I found this gem in Manly, NSW! Large lace sleeves, buttons down the front with a draw string waist and a gorgeous vintage style print.
It is a very generous size 10,
as it has a large drawstring waist.
Maxi length, slightly sheer so wear nude underwear, it's cream with peachy flowers.

THE BOHEMIAN GOWN
~ IN CREAM
Gorgeous loose lace sleeves, embroidery detail on the bust with crochet trim and two lace panels at the bottom. Plunge neckline and low back. Can be worn with a cream or skin coloured bra but make sure it has a thin and low sitting backing.
Size Medium, elastic waist.
Maxi length but comes up higher at the front, slightly sheer, white.

The Ziggy Lou Romper
Beautiful knitted romper in 'caramel fleck'. It has thick cuffs and a relaxed fit around the bodice. Your baby will look and feel so cosy but still be showing their cute legs and toes.

'Newborn' 1-3 months - approx 000)
The Ziggy Lou Bonnets
Gorgeous knitted bonnets to match any outfit. Available in 'caramel fleck' and 'oatmeal fleck'.

The Overalls
Both super cute knitted overalls to fit a small baby. I love that you can still see their flakey newborn skin and little back rolls.

The Snuggle Hunny Kids Rompers
Soft organic stretch rib material rompers.

The Pants
If you prefer to see more skin, we can just use these as a nappy cover. One pant in knit and one in stretchy cotton.

Bows Available Too
Soft stretchy and subtle bows are available too and if you have a girl, I will normally pack these in my bag just in case!
